Summary
This book is so emotional and has really touched my heart. There are many characters in the story, but the main one is Lily—and, of course, my favorite, Atlas. You might wonder, who is Atlas? Well, he’s one of the book’s characters, and his role he’s Lily’s ex-boyfriend.
Twenty-three-year-old Lily Bloom, a recent college graduate, moves to Boston with hopes of opening her own flower shop. She grew up in a broken home, where her father, Andrew, physically abused her mother, Jenny. This caused Lily to resent both her father and her mother for staying with him. After her father’s recent death, Lily gave a eulogy at his funeral in Plethora, Maine. She said she would list five things she loved about him, but instead, stood in silence for several seconds before walking away.
My Review
This book is incredibly good and deeply emotional, touching my heart in many ways. The story involves abuse, romance, and drama. The main character, Lily, dreams of opening her own flower shop, so she moves to Boston. There, she meets Ryle, they fall in love, and eventually get married. However, I don’t like Ryle’s character—he’s a neurosurgeon but ends up physically abusing Lily. Because of this, Lily leaves him and reconnects with her ex-boyfriend, Atlas. Lily later discovers she’s pregnant with Ryle’s child, and after the baby is born, they co-parent. Despite her ups and downs, Atlas remains by her side, supporting and loving her. The book has a lot of romance involving both Ryle and Atlas. so book is very popular and my rating for this book 5 out of 5 i really like her book and move also.
My Thought
“It Starts With Us” is a heartfelt and comforting sequel to It Ends With Us. It focuses on healing, second chances, and the love between Lily and Atlas. Unlike the first book, which was intense and emotional, this one feels like a warm, happy ending. Atlas’s perspective adds so much depth to the story, showing how deeply he loves Lily. He is kind, patient, and the complete opposite of Ryle. Lily, on the other hand, is strong and determined to build a better future for herself and her daughter. This book is not about drama but about love that feels safe and right. It’s a beautiful, hopeful story that gives Lily and Atlas the happiness they deserve. 💙
